Made in Britain
At SeaSafe we are proud to make our Products, Garments and Life Jackets here in the UK.
We are a small factory based on a business park in Cowes, Isle of Wight within the heart of the sailing community. Here we have everything we need to produce our innovative and unique garments under one roof.
Our office team works closely with our factory team and most roles cross over, enabling us to research and develop products with direct communication with our customers – this is integral to the research and development, as well as inspiring us to problem solve for the market.
In our factory we house a large number of different machines – sewing machines, overlockers, button holers and even an old Singer that attaches buttons onto fabric. We have a seam taping machine and welding machines for the production of the inflatable lungs which go inside our life jackets, our team all have decades of experience.
Together we operate this small part of UK Manufacturing which we are very proud to be a part of – For more details on what is made and where, please give us a call at our factory on the Isle of Wight or pop into our factory shop and have a look at what we are about, we can even give you a tour of the factory so you can see your coat or life jacket in production.
In the photos above you can see snapshots of the SeaSafe factory; A row of patterns, seamstresses, the cutting machine and a finished SeaSafe life jacket coat. If you are on the Island or in Cowes and interested in our products why not pop into the factory and have a look at our factory ‘pop-up’ shop and see the coats in production.
